A GOOD STORY/WELL TOLD

I’m a former network TV business news producer. After nearly 30 years of asking questions, evaluating answers, finding compelling stories and producing personal profiles, I quickly spot a good story. I help frame it to make an audience care and I can deliver it in many formats, from video to podcast to illustrated text. Your story is your identity. My passion is to get it out there.

THE WORK IS A 3-PART PROCESS

ONE: I work with business owners and individuals to give voice to their passions. Our work begins by identifying the stories and language that honestly express who you are and what you do.

TWO: From there, I find ways to connect what you have to say with the people you need to reach. Will other people get it? Will they care about it? I refine the message to make sure they do.

THREE: The message must suit the platform. I conduct the interview, direct the video, and shape the material to fit the intended platform. I understand the differences between Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and network television, and I shape the project to take advantage of the strengths of each.

LOUSY: Love in the Time of Dementia is short documentary about the impact of dementia on my parents. I reveals and the bonds of love between them and those who care for them has helped them cope.

This small excerpt features my father and his barber, Ben Gaspi- the hot-shave master. Not much is said the but the bond between them is great.
